Jean Segur

Jean Segur, 78, of Englewood died Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Englewood Community Hospital. Born on March 27, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio to William and Margaret (Roberts) Senecal, she had been a resident of Charlotte County for nineteen years coming from Mooresville, Indiana. A loving wife, mother and grandmother she loved playing bingo and going bowling with her friends. She was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion Auxiliary in Indiana. She is pre-deceased by her parents and husband, Robert Segur. Local survivors include her two loving sons: Robert W. (Marilyn) Segur and Rick E. Segur both of Englewood, FL; one grand daughter: Amanda J. Segur of Port Charlotte, FL and a nephew: Robert L. Wasnich of Englewood, FL. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 2 PM at the Englewood Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3070 South McCall Road with Rev. Gale Williamson, officiating. Inurnment will be in Indiana.
