June 17, 2004 — January 25, 2026
Goodbye isn't forever and definitely not the end. It simply means we'll miss you until we meet again.
**Obituary for Lucas F. Martin**
With heavy hearts, we announce the untimely passing of Lucas F. Martin, who left us far too soon at the young age of 21, on January 25, 2026. Lucas was born on June 17, 2004, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and quickly became a bright light in the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Lucas was known for his kind and generous spirit, always ready with a joke that could bring a smile to anyone's face. His loyalty to his family and friends was unmatched, and he spent his days enjoying life to the fullest. He loved riding his motorcycle, affectionately named Scarlett, and enjoyed off-roading adventures in the little Jeep. His adventurous spirit was matched only by his loyalty and dedication to helping others; he was always ready to lend a hand to his friends with whatever they needed. He also spent most days on Boca Grande working alongside his stepdad, Jared.
Lucas shared a special bond with his girlfriend, Epy Rose, and cherished their time together with friends. His love for his family was evident in the warmth he brought to every gathering. He is survived by his father, Brad Martin (Tiffany), his mother, Amber Marshall (Jared), and his siblings: Katie Martin (Dylan Delph), Lilly Martin, Grace Marshall, and Triton Weldon. He also leaves behind his beloved nephew, Kaden Delph; his cherished fur babies, Ollie and Tucker; along with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends who loved him deeply.
Lucas left a mark on this world that will not be forgotten. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life at the Englewood Community Funeral Home located at 3070 South McCall Road, Englewood, Florida, on February 7, 2026, from 1PM to 3PM. A second celebration will take place on February 28, 2026, at the Boone County Fairgrounds, 1300 East 100 South, Lebanon, Indiana, 46052 in the BCA Building from 1PM-5PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests a tree be planted in his honor.
Though Lucas may no longer be with us, his generous heart and joyful spirit will continue to inspire all of us who loved him. He will be missed dearly but remembered with laughter and love. Rest in peace, Lucas; you will be greatly missed.
