Marcia Rose Garza

Marcia Rose Garza, 56, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Mesa, Arizona on April 26, 2026. Marcia was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 2, 1969, to Carlos Garza and the late Diana (Pruett) Garza. Although not a native, she made Arizona her home for nearly forty years and embraced her community with warmth and generosity. She is survived by her children, Andre (Chynna) and Jada (Daniel) and their father Chris; her father, Carlos Garza; her brothers, Carlo and Marcos; her sister, Darla Charlene; her beloved grandchildren, Eudoxie and Tomás; her nephew and nieces, Chris, Theresa and Katherine; and her loving partner, Terry. Marcia’s family and friends were the heart of her life.

Marcia was beautiful, charismatic and full of life. She loved to sing, whether praising at church or at a night of karaoke, and she delighted in bringing people together. A generous hostess and cook, she made sure everyone at her table always had plenty to eat and left feeling cared for.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, 2:30pm at Falconer Funeral Home in Gilbert. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts in Marcia’s memory be made to her favorite dog rescue, The 15/10 Foundation: 15outof10.org.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. May her light continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved her.
