Anne Suska

Anne (Copley) Suska, 92, of North Port, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Born on February 22, 1933, in Auburn, New York, Anne was the beloved daughter of the late Herbert K. and Helen A. (Lavey) Copley. She moved to Cape Coral, Florida, in 1989 and later made North Port her home in 2001, after many cherished years in Lexington, Ohio.

Anne was predeceased by her devoted husband, Andrew Suska, as well as three brothers—George, Paul, and Charlie—and her sister, Jane. She is survived by her loving sisters Roberta Bellnier (Paul) and Kathryn Bellnier.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Karen Cashell (Bob), Lynda LaLiberte (Tom), Sandra Suska, and Mark Suska (Lisa); six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is also fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, all of whom she adored.

Anne will be remembered for her compassion, her deep love for her family, and her joyful spirit—never one to miss a celebration. She found great joy in knitting, puzzles, playing cards, and most of all, spending time with those she loved. Her presence brought warmth and comfort to all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at Farley Funeral Home, 5900 South Biscayne Drive, North Port, FL 34287.

A Funeral Mass will follow on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM at San Pedro Catholic Church, 14380 Tamiami Trail, North Port, FL 34287.

Anne will be laid to rest during a noon entombment at Venice Memorial Gardens, 1950 Center Road, Venice, FL 34292.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to San Pedro Catholic Church in Anne’s memory.
