Bruce Arthur Isbell

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Bruce Arthur Isbell, (May 17, 1941 - June 12, 2026) son of Mary and Gordon of Transcona, Manitoba. He was a devoted husband of Katherine, loving Father of Scott (Surong), Stacy (Patrick), and Andrea (Michael). Proud Grandfather and Uncle. Predeceased by his brother Murray and survived by his sister Dr. Heather Yong. 

Bruce spent his career in Information Technology Management where interesting projects kept him moving across Canada and eventually to California, Texas and finally to Florida. 

Once retired, Bruce found his true passion in volunteer work. For over 20 years, through San Pedro Catholic Church, he did respite work, helped the needy through the St. Vincent de Paul Society and ushered at mass. His favorite, however, was his work with FISH (Friends In Service Here) where he procured rides to doctor’s appointments for people who had no transportation alternatives. 

Bruce was a quiet, kind and gentle man who was loved by so many. He is already greatly missed. 

A funeral mass was held at San Pedro Catholic Church on June 18, 2026
