Alfred Joseph Garceau

Alfred J. Garceau, 74, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away March 8, 2015. Alfred was born November 25, 1940 in Pawtucket, RI to Theresa (Rivet) and Alfred J. Garceau. He was retired from Sup. Ships in Groton CT. Interests included travel,golf,bowling and bingo with the gang.. He was preceded in death by his wife, Claire in 2011. Survivors include his four children: Dawn ( Steve) Mitchell of Englewood East, FL, Linda C.(Steve) Hebert of Pawcatuck, CT, Alfred J. (Debra)Garceau of Westerly, RI and Thomas R.(Maria) Garceau of Westerly, RI; 6 grandchildren; two brothers: James Garceau of West Virginia and Robert Garceau of Rhode Island; two sisters: Theresa Octeau of Rhode Island and Sandra Furlong of Rhode Island. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, March 21 at Epiphany Cathedral with inurnment immediately following at Venice Memorial Gardens.
