Carl Martin Herren

Carl M. Herren, 82, of Venice, Florida died August 29, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Carl was born in Marshfield, Missouri on December 21, 1932, to Cline and Audrey Herren. He graduated from the University of Missouri School of Mines in 1958 as an electrical engineer, and spent 32 years working for rural electric power cooperatives in Missouri, Arizona and Oklahoma. Carl's military service included four years as a sonarman on the A. A. Cunningham during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Laquitta Herren; daughter and granddaughter, Laura and Sarah Kushner of Dallas; son, Vaughn Herren of Venice; and brother Cline C. Herren of Marshfield, Missouri.
