Charles Chuck Jones

Charles “Chuck” Jones, of Nokomis, FL, passed away on April 10, 2026 at the age of 71. He was born on February 27, 1955, in Dickson City, PA, and was raised in Montdale, PA. He attended Scranton Prep and went on to graduate from Villanova University. He later lived in West Chester, PA before relocating to Nokomis, FL 11 years ago. He attended Scranton Prep and went on to graduate from Villanova University.

Chuck built a long career as a chemical engineer specializing in plastics and recycling, working in the industry for nearly 50 years. His work took him across the country and around the world. For the past 27 years, he served as President of Advanced Plastic Systems. He was deeply committed to his work and took pride in the role he played in the industry over the course of his career.

Outside of work, Chuck was an avid fan of Philadelphia and Villanova sports and enjoyed following his teams closely.

Chuck is survived by his daughter, Kristin McCune, and her husband Dan, along with their three daughters, Tessa, Abby, and Hannah, all of Cincinnati, OH; his son, Jason Jones of Nashville, TN; his brother, John Jones and his wife Denise of Allentown, PA; his nieces, Jacqueline Hoxie and Marcelle Karosen; and his partner, Karen Ross. He was preceded in death by his father, John Paul Jones, and his mother, Norma Pompey Jones.
