Christina Mitas

November 25, 1948 — November 7, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Christina Mitas, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, who left us on November 7, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born on November 25, 1948, Christina lived a life defined by love, resilience, and an unwavering dedication to those she cared for.

Christina was a strong woman whose spirit touched the hearts of all who knew her. She was a constant source of support, wisdom, and unconditional love to her family and friends. Her kindness, generosity, and warm presence left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Through the highs and lows of life, Christina remained a pillar of strength, showing us all the true meaning of perseverance and grace.

Predeceased by her loving husband, George Mitas, and her parents, Anastasia and John Christy, Christina is survived by her three children, Stephanie Mitas, Diana Mitas, and Gregory Mitas, her partner Antonio “Tony” Regueira, and her brother, John Christy and family, and a wide circle of friends who will forever remember her warmth, laughter, and boundless generosity.

Christina’s legacy is one of compassion, resilience, and love. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the lives she touched and the lessons she imparted. Rest in peace, Christina. Your love and strength will never be forgotten.

A memorial service will be held in her honor, and her family invites all who knew her to celebrate her life and the lasting impact she made. Date and Location still to be determined. Until then, please leave a note or memory here. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Christina’s memory.
