Frank William Langlois
August 11, 1944 — January 6, 2026
With humble acceptance of god’s will, we announce the passing of Francis William Langlois, 81 of Venice, FL.
He passed away peacefully at his home in Venice, Fl. following a brief illness on January 6, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on August 11, 1944 to Arthur and Wilhelmina Langlois. Frank was a devoted and loving husband to his wife Delores of 61 years. Also, an amazing father to his three children.
Frank was a hardworking dedicated man who honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He started his career as a Teamster in Local 25 for 17 years, he then entered the paving industry for 25 years before retiring from the Operating Engineers Local 4.
Frank and Delores moved to Florida in 2005. They spent summers in various New England states exploring around before finding their summer home in Hebron, NH.
Frank had many passions including hunting, fishing and horseshoes but really loved his golfing. He was a member of the Moose club in Englewood, FL. where he enjoyed dancing with his beautiful wife, playing bar poker and “SHOW ME THE MONEY!”. His true happiness was found in spending quality time with his family and close friends. Whether you knew him as Frank, Papa, or Mop, his presence will always and forever be felt in those who knew and loved him. You could always rest assured that when he entered a room, a “Frank Prank” or a funny joke was about to take place and laughter was about to fill the entire space.
Frank and Delores spent many years traveling around the world and the United States with friends. Often accompanied by his beloved sister, Jane.
Throughout their travels they’ve gained many good friends that they’ve continued relationships with over the years.
Frank cherished and adored all of his three children but it was his five grandchildren and spouses Kyle & Laura McCormack, Erika & Garrett Gleason, Ryan Langell, Melyssa & Danny Mead, Aiden Langlois and his three great grandchildren, Keegan, Luca & Charle Marie that lit up the last 36 years of his life.
He is survived by his wife Delores and their three children and spouses. Christine & Dan McCormack, Karen & Ron Langell, John & Mia Langlois. Also, his loving sister Gail Dempsey DiNardo and husband Tony. Frank had many nieces and nephews who loved and laughed with him every time they were together.
Frank was proceeded by his parents and eleven siblings. We will deeply miss your fun, crazy & silly shenanigans! ❤️
