Rosemary Filia Smith

Rosemary Filia Smith of Venice, FL, died on July 3, 2014. Rosemary was an avid bridge player, who placed in several international championships. She was also a member of the Venice-Nokomis Women's Club. She and her husband, Richard, lived and worked in Saudi Arabia for about 25 years. Survivors include her son, Alexander (Sandra) Smith, of Venice, FL; daughter Antoinette Smith of Front Royal, VA; grandchildren Nicole Smith of Durham, NC and Michael Smith of Jacksonville, FL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rosemary was predeceased by her husband, Richard, in 2008. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 11th at 10:30AM at Epiphany Cathedral. Inurnment will follow in the church gardens.
