Ryan A. Pignatelli
April 1, 1985 — June 19, 2016
Ryan A. Pignatelli, age 31, passed away unexpectedly from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Sunday, June 19. Ryan was born to Gina Macioce-Yodzis and Bruce Pignatelli on April 1, 1985 in Columbus, Ohio. He resided in Columbus for the first 15 years of his life before relocating to Punta Gorda, FL, where he graduated from Port Charlotte high school in 2003. Ryan attended fire fighter/EMT school in Sarasota, FL and built a career installing fire suppression systems in Sarasota, FL. Ryan enjoyed life to the fullest, spending time with family and friends whenever possible. Ryan especially enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his two children, Maci and Jase. Ryan was preceded in death by his two sisters, Amber Marie and Lindsey Marie; grandfathers, Frank Macioce and Celestine Pignatelli; and grandmother, Mary Pignatelli. He is survived by his mother Gina Macioce-Yodzis (Chris); father Bruce Pignatelli (Kathy); his two children Maci and Jase; grandmother Mary Ann Macioce; step-brother Joshua; and many of his extended family, including many uncles, aunts, and cousins in the Macioce, Mentel, and Farrell families. All who knew Ryan have lost a wonderful son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend. Memorial services will be privately held. In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to a trust fund set up for his two children at Fifth Third Bank, Pignatelli Children, account number 9923258330.
