Susan R. Welham

Susan Robinson Welham, 83, of Venice, FL, died peacefully on January 21, 2016. Susan was born October 23, 1932 in Lewistown, PA to Sarah Jane (Danks) and Harry Alvin Robinson. Her sister and brother-in-law Anne and Dick Conklin preceded her in death. Susan graduated from OldfieldsPrep School in 1950 and EndicottJunior College in 1953. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Lewistown and The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Venice. She was a two time women's golf club champion at the Lewistown Country Club. She was involved with Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed bowling, and was on the 2015 Women's Bocce Championship Team at the Plantation Golf and Country Club. Susan was also a member of the University Club. Susan will be dearly missed by her husband of 61 years, Robert M. Welham of Venice, FL; son, Scott and wife, Heidi of Lewistown, PA; Daughter, Jane and husband, Bob Hall of Boalsburg, PA, daughter, Robin and husband, Jeff Wilson of Lewistown, PA; grandchildren: Tyler Hall of Williamsburg, VA, Wesley Hall of Harrisburg, PA, Sawyer Welham of Arlington, VA, Connor Hall of Boulder, CO, Max Wilson of Kingsville, TX, Ted Wilson, Cole Welham, Mitch Welham, Maggie Wilson, all of Lewistown, PA; nephews: Randy Conklin and wife, Debra of Lewistown, PA, Ken Conklin and partner, Philippe Lespagnol of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Bill Conklin of Brooklyn, NY. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, and will be greatly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 13 at 4 PM at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Venice, FL. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd or a charity of your choice.
