Thomas Lee Wyneken

Thomas Lee Wyneken, 79, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026, at home in Ellenton, Florida.

Tom was born in Kendallville, Indiana, and graduated from Ball State University. He was passionate about sports, reading, baking, traveling, being on the water, and spending time with his family.

He will be remembered for his generous and kind spirit, his dad jokes, and his love of peanut butter pie.

Tom is preceded in death by his father, Edmund. He is survived by his wife, Hélène; his mother, June; his sisters, Judy, Jan, and Barb; his children, Sara, Susan, Doug, Jessica, Kristina, and Anna Grace; his bonus children, Jeremy, Nicholas, Brandon, and Omair; and his grandchildren, Gus, Reece, Zoey, Hollis, Rowan, Quinn, Teagan, Kellan; and his beloved dog, Henry.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Moffit Cancer Center.
