Charline Linville Booth passed away in Nampa, ID on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at the age of 89, she was born July 26, 1920 at Utica, Oklahoma, a daughter of Louis and Edna Linville. She spent her school years beginning at Utica, Junior High at Roberts, Oklahoma, and graduating from High school in Blue, Oklahoma.
In the fall of 1938 she moved with her father and brother to Nyssa, Oregon, where she worked at Langton's Store and restaurants in the area. In 1948 she married Homer "Slim" Livesay, they had two sons Larry and Paul. They were in the Cafe business in Stanley, Idaho, Nyssa, Oregon, Spray, Oregon and Wilder, Idaho for many years where they raised their two sons. Slim died in 1981. In 1982 she married Clayton Booth and they made their home in Quincy, WA, while in Quincy Charline was active in Garden Clubs, The Homemakers Club and Hospital Auxiliary. After Claytons passing she moved back to Nampa to be closer to family, after returning here she became involved with the Red Hat Club at Silver Crest Estates. Charline enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking and crafting, here home was always open and you never left hungry. She was preceded in death by her brother Don and a sister Alda.
She is survived by her two sons Larry and Debbie Livesay, Paul Livesay and Kathy Varitek, her brother Ray Linville and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A time of viewing will be held at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell on Wednesday, January 13th from 4-8 P.M. a graveside service will be held for her at Canyon Hill Cemetery on Thursday, January 14th at 2:00 P.M. in lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
