Gloria Allen Salinas
Nov 19, 1958 — Apr 12, 2026
Gloria Allen Salinas, 67, of Caldwell, Idaho, entered eternal peace on April 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Gloria was born to Eusebio and Amelia Salinas on November 19, 1958, in Dimmitt, Texas, and she brought joy and light into their lives from the very first moment. Her family ultimately established their roots in Caldwell, Idaho, where Gloria attended school. Gloria worked for J.R. Simplot for over 30 years, where she made lifelong friendships that she cherished dearly.
Gloria was the embodiment of love, compassion, patience, and kindness. She had a unique ability to make every person feel special, lending a listening ear or a helping hand whenever needed. Her love for life is why she was often invited to join others in both important celebrations and casual gatherings.
Gloria had a passion for football and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Boise State fan. At the end of every football season, she was already looking forward to the next. When she was not cheering on her football teams or visiting with her friends, she loved caring for her dog, Teddy, tending to her yard, and most of all, spending time with her family. These moments will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Gloria is survived by her sisters; Rosalinda (Jose) of Weslaco, Texas, Olga (Salvador) Ochoa of Caldwell, Idaho; a daughter, Criselda (Antonio) Guerra of Middleton, Idaho; a son, Rolando Ibarra Jr. of Caldwell, Idaho; granddaughters, Alejandra (Greg) Gonzalez, Ebony Gallegos, Tayler (Jacob) Wheaton, Gracie Guerra, and Annika Guerra ; grandsons, Anthony Ibarra, Victor (Jade) Barba, Izaiah Ibarra, Gianni Ibarra, and Gino Ordoñez; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who treasured her unconditional love.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; Eusebio and Amelia Salinas; her brothers, Eusebio Salinas Jr., Arnold Salinas, and Andres Salinas; sisters, San Juanita Salinas and Angie Salinas-Kiser.
