Brenda Rae Sutterfield Watts

Brenda Rae Prow Sutterfield Watts Age 82 passed away on April 27, 2026, at her home in Homedale, Idaho, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 28, 1944, to Elmer and Mary Prow. Brenda was raised with strong family values and a deep appreciation for hard work and community. In her youth, she enjoyed square dancing and spending time with her family, and she was honored as Tomorrow’s Homemaker during her senior year of high school.

On November 19, 1962, Brenda married Earl James Sutterfield in Canyon County, Idaho. Together they built a life centered on family and raised two sons, Troy and Walt. Brenda was known for creating a warm and welcoming home, always offering kindness, support, and generosity to those around her.

A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Brenda remained active in her faith throughout her life. She also dedicated many years to serving her community through volunteer work and acts of service.

Brenda was employed at the local seed company from 1977 until her retirement in 2014. In addition to her career, she was well known for her talent for baking and spent many years creating cakes for special occasions, bringing joy to countless families.

Following her retirement, Brenda cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren Nick, Kenzie, Sofia, Dixie and Kolten. She took great pride in her growing family and found immense joy in her later years watching her great-grandchildren Cruz, Kyson, Kaisley and Elaine.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mary Prow, and her sister, Verva Gilbert.

Brenda is survived by her brother, Larry (Darlene) Prow; her sons, Troy (Stacey Stimmel) Sutterfield and Walt Sutterfield; her grandchildren, Nick (Kelsey) Sutterfield, Kenzie Cortez, Sofia Sutterfield, Dixie Stimmel, and Kolten Kelly; her stepson, Bob (Kristine) Gorton; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A viewing will be held April 30, 2026, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Flahiff funeral home; 27 E Owyhee Ave Homedale, ID 83628. Graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday May 30th, 2026, at Marsing Homedale cemetery; Luncheon to follow at Txoko Ona Basque Center, 333 S. Main Street Homedale, ID 83628.
