Jaime L. Gonce Nico

GONCE-NICO, Jaime L., 59, of Tampa, Florida passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014. He was born in Santiago, Cuba on October 10, 1954. Jaime was a Captain in commercial shipping and an expert in all facets of construction. He loved the water and enjoyed spending time fishing. Jaime is preceded in death by his father, Gilberto Gonce and sister, Conchita Nico. He is survived by his wife; Elia: three sons, Denny Gonce, Yunior Gonce, and Wilmer Padilla; daughter, Elia Druyard; mother, Josefina Nico; brother, Edwardo Rene Gonce; sister, Alena Nico; four grandchildren, Denny Luis Gonce, Magdalena Rivas, Rafael Rivas Jr., and Lilyanna Rivas; and his beloved dogs, Jerica Antonia Disla, Lazy Disla, Lulu Disla and Chiqui Disla. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, at Florida Mortuary Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
