Larry Wayne "Butch" Westmoreland passed away on September 8, 2018. He was born in Memphis, TN to M C And Mildred (Allen) Westmoreland on July 16, 1950.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Anne (Wynnona Hostetler) Westmoreland of Tampa, FL, 2 daughters Jennifer Coyle (Keith) of Riverview, FL and Debbi Walton of Largo, FL. He has 3 grandchildren, EMN2 John Ryan, US Navy, of Bangor, WA, Ashton Walton and Shelby Walton of Largo, FL.
Larry leaves 3 siblings. Gary Westmoreland (Julie) of West Memphis, AR, Kathy Callender (Mike) of Hernando, MS and Denise Brewer (Larry "Brew") of Paragould, AR. His older sister Dianne Williams preceeded him in death.
He also leaves 3 brothers in law. Barry Hostetler (Myna) of Memphis, TN, Pat Hostetler (Patricia) of Jacksonville, FL and Jim Hostetler (Angela) of Benton, AR as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
Larry was a veteran of the US Army and National Guard. He was retired from US Foods in Tampa, FL. His retirement years were filled by volunteering at Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County where he was awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award for 2016.
There will be no formal services at his request. The family asks that you celebrate his life in any manner that will help you remember and honor him.
