Amanda S Rice

It is with great sadness that we announce Amanda Sari Rice has passed away June 29, 2025, in Lacey Washington. Amanda was born to her parents Dena Kirchoff and Vince Kirchoff in Pomona California on October 22, 1982. She graduated from Lakes Highschool in Washington and would eventually come to make Lacey, Washington her home for 12 years.

Amanda was always so dedicated to her family; she was a wonderful sister to her siblings and was very involved in her nieces and nephews’ lives. Her nieces and nephews brought so much joy and love to her life; they were absolutely her little best friends. She was also a member of the Evergreen Christian Community and made lifelong bonds with fellow members.

Always able to bring a smile to your face, Amanda was incredibly witty with a great sense of humor. Though you had better stay on her good side as she was the absolute queen of the eye roll and when she gave you one you knew it was time to shape up. She loved listening to music of all genres and scrolling Pinterest for inspiration. Amanda had a sweet tooth as well, as she absolutely loved chocolate. An overall pure and beautiful soul, she will always be remembered by all who knew her.

Amanda will be dearly missed by her parents Vince and Dena Kirchoff; her sister Stevie Kay Rice; her brothers Andrew McAllister, Zachery Kirchoff, and Matthew Kirchoff; her nieces Hailie McAllister, Hannah McAllister, Kida Kirchoff; her nephews Jasper McAllister, Sebastian McAllister, River Adams; her aunts and uncles Julie and Steve Streeter, Gloria and Ken Brown, Catherine Pompa, and Jeannie Figirioa; her grandmother Judey Millender; and many honorary family members. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Dean and Shari Rice.

A celebration of life will be held in Amanda’s honor, which will be announced at a later date.
