Candice Chisholm

Candice (Candi) Chisholm was born to parents Lenore and Jack Hogan on November 28, 1953, in Spokane, WA and has unfortunately passed on May 20, 2026, in Olympia, WA from complications due to diabetes.

Growing up alongside her sister Vickie, Candi attended and graduated from North Central High School in Spokane in 1971 and then moved on to obtaining her bookkeeping and accounting degrees at Clark County Community College in Vancouver, WA where she lived for 38 years before moving to Olympia.

She married Paul Ziegler in 1973 who would later pass and have together they had two sons, Scott and Brian Ziegler.

She worked at the Portland, OR. Meadows horse track for seven years while living in Vancouver, WA. After leaving Portland meadows she went to work for Mike McCuddy at McCuddy’s marina for 35 years and then retired to Olympia WA. To spend time with family and her 3 beloved dogs. In her spare time could be found traveling in her airstream with her husband Doug, collecting antiques, and most importantly spending time with her family and three dogs Lui, Archie and betty.

She was a member of the Wally Byam Caravan Club and went to Various Rallies. She was known for her great sense of humor, kind and thoughtful heart towards everyone, and her love of the lord.

She leaves behind her mother Lenore, sons Scott Ziegler and Brian Ziegler and her three grandchildren Caitlyn Ziegler, Brooklyn Ziegler and Daniel Zeigler. She is preceded in death by her father Jack Hogan and sister Vicki Stokes.

She will be deeply missed, and her memory will be carried by her friends, family and those who had the wonderful opportunity to know her.
