Charlotte K. Sliger passed away April 10, 2016 in Olympia, Washington. She was born November 30, 1949 in Berkeley, California. She spent her youth in Arizona and California until moving to southern Oregon where she graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1968. She spent most of her life in the Pacific Northwest, though she loved to travel and has visited Norway, France, England, Turkey, and Alaska. Charlotte was friendly, easy to laugh, and always saw the good in people. She also was very artistic and creative. She enjoyed art, reading, movies and many kinds of music. She especially loved photography and would always be seen with her camera, capturing the world around her. She had a generous spirit and loved knitting and baking. She enjoyed exploring the spiritual nature of life and was attending the Church of Living Water in Olympia prior to her passing. She is survived by her parents, Loretta M. Smith and Gene R. Joachims; son, Jeremy K. Johnson; daughter, Jennifer L. Johnson-Heim; grandchildren, Sydney, Alexa, Danielle, Christopher and Max; brothers, Charles Sliger, John Sliger, James Joachims, Leroy Joachims, and Clifford Joachims; sisters, Patricia Sliger and Mary Joachims; and many nephews and nieces.
