Darin Donald Higgins

Darin Higgins, age 59, passed away March 22, 2026, at Olympia, WA.

Darin was born on January 20, 1967, to Gary and Joy Higgins in Grangeville, Idaho. After graduation, he worked for Circle H Construction in Boise and then returned to Grangeville to work for Macgregor Chemical until he became disabled in 1998. His disability did not dampen his zest for life, and he spent much of his time reminiscing about his younger years and making friends everywhere he went.

He loved hunting, traveling, spending time with friends and helping others. He always had a huge smile and another story to tell. He was proceeded in death by his little brother Craig, his father Gary, and grandparents Ozzie and Audrey Vallieres and Vern and Marcele Higgins.

He is survived by his mother Joy, his little sister Madi, his sister Marci Phillips, her husband Larry, nephew Josh, wife Kylie and their son Walker, niece McKenzie, husband Dane and their son Preston, nephew Luke and niece Maggie. His contagious smile will be missed by many.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Marci and Larry Phillips in Olympia, WA, Saturday, July 25, 2026.
