Mary Ann Ferranti
November 26, 1936 — July 2, 2017
Mary Ann Ferranti passed away July 2, 2017 in Tumwater, Washington, at age 80. She was born November 26, 1936 to Augustine and Lucy (Aiello) Marino in New Haven, Connecticut. She married Paul Michael Ferranti on February 7, 1958 at Ft. Dix, New Jersey.
Mary’s life was centered in her Catholic faith, her family, her grand puppies Bing and Louie, and her friends. She was a parishioner and volunteer at St. Michael Parish, a founding member of the Military Widows Club, and volunteer at McKenny Elementary. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, participating in prayer groups, and going to see live theater. She enjoyed baking cookies, working in her yard, and walking along Capitol Lake. Even though she had numerous medical conditions, Mary would never let them get the best of her.
She is survived by her daughters, Josephine Ann Geiger, Mary Francis Gaffney, and Michele Ferranti; grandchildren, Richelle Geiger, Sara Geiger, Matthey Gaffney, Joseph Gaffney, Michaela Gaffney, Connor Craig, and Collin Craig; and brother, Augustine (Judy) Marino. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul; and sons-in-law, Richard Joseph Geiger and Kevin Gaffney.
