**Obituary for Patricia "Patti" Humphrey Saeger**

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Patricia "Patti" Humphrey Saeger, who left this world on April 13, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on November 17, 1942, Patti lived a life full of love, devotion, and family, embodying the spirit of care and kindness that she shared with all who knew her. Patti was a cherished mother and grandmother, survived by her adoring children: Debra (Kevin) Gwinn, Tamra (Mike) Bowie, Cynthia (Peter) Sanderson, Tricia (Dennis) Harmon, Jon (Nichole) Saeger, and Jan Saeger Jr. Her legacy continues through her 21 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren, whose lives she touched with her unwavering support and affection. She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters, Ginger Goff, Lily Taylor, Jacquie McKay, and JaneLee Jensen.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Phyllis Humphrey, her beloved spouse Jan P. Saeger, and her sister Margalyn Kelly, who welcomed her with open arms.

Patti's professional journey included several years at the Olympia Brewery before its closure, followed by meaningful work at Camerano's and O'Blarney's Irish Pub, where she retired from her office position. Although she pursued some college studies in secretarial work and bookkeeping, it was the ties she forged with family and friends that truly defined her legacy.

An avid traveler, Patti enjoyed exploring the United States alongside her husband and close friends, creating lasting memories on road trips and adventures. Her passion for family gatherings often culminated in spectacular Thanksgiving feasts, where she joyfully hosted up to 40 guests in her garage dining room, embodying her love for food and fellowship.

Patti found joy in the simple things—whether it was sewing, knitting, or curling up in a long, hot bath with a good book. Her warmth and hospitality were felt by all, and her enduring spirit remains present in the hearts of those she loved.
