Randall Edward Russell

Randall "Randy" Edward Russell, 60, of Neeses, South Carolina passed away February 25, 2019 at the Veterans Hospital of Columbia, SC. He was born on May 15, 1958 in Los Angeles, California to the late James Russell and the late Elizabeth Moore Kimmel. Randy's first love was riding his Harley Davidson. His passion was problem solving and he was great at it. Randy's life consisted of industrial high voltage electrical work. He spent his naval career on nuclear submarines as a Sonar Technician and received the Navy Expeditionary Medal. Randall is survived by his step-father, Daniel G. Kimmel; his two sons, Johnathan Russell and Benjamin Russell; his brother, Wayne (Robyn) York; his sister, Kathaleen Kent; his younger sister, Kimberley (Tim) Evans; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
