Julian “ Johnny” Mack Hyatt, 75, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on July 10, 2026.

Johnny was born on May 15, 1951, in Bradenton, Florida. He graduated from Palmetto High School in 1969, beginning a life marked by dedication, hard work and commitment to those around him. In 1970 he joined the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, affiliated with the AFL-CIO, beginning a long and distinguished career in the plumbing and mechanical trades. Throughout his professional life, he continued to expand his knowledge and skills, serving as a plumbing, mechanical, plans and medical gas inspector. In 1980, he became a Training Instructor at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Michigan and later served as the Training Director at the Local Union #123. In 1984 he began working in Alaska on the Alaskan Pipeline. In 1986, Johnny proudly owned and operated his own plumbing company, Hyatt Plumbing, continuing to share his expertise and passion for his profession.

Johnny was a proud Mason, becoming a member of Bradenton Masonic Lodge #31 in 1975. While Johnny accomplished much in his career, he will be remembered most for the love he had for his family and friends. He was a man of generosity, strength, humor and kindness. He touched the lives of those around him through the way he cared for others. His dedication to his work and his desire to always continue learning and growing were reflections of the person he was.

Johnny is survived by his beloved spouse, June Hyatt; his daughters, Jill Hyatt and Jan Hyatt; his sister Delores Theirs; and his grandchildren, Jonah Zimmerman, Tyler Butrum and Luna Zimmerman. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Marcheta Hyatt. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, 720 Manatee Avenue W. , Bradenton, Florida from 6:00-8:00PM. A funeral service will be held at Griffith-Cline in Bradenton on July 16, 2026 at 12:00 PM, following with an internment at Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton.

Johnny's memory will live on through the many lives he touched, the family he loved deeply and the lasting legacy he built through kindness, dedication and generosity.
