Billy Ray Hart, 49, passed away on April 19, 2020 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC.
Billy was born on May 23, 1970, in Durham, NC to Billy Ray Hart Sr. and Doris (Bailey) Hart.
He graduated from Greene Central High School in 1988 and worked for Charlotte Pipe & Foundry Company.
Billy was predeceased by his father, Billy Ray Hart Sr. He is survived by his wife,
Kimberly (Silvey) Hart; his sons Cole Hart and Nicholas Hart; his daughter Reagan Hart; his mother Doris Hart; his brother Johnathan Hart; and his sister Nichole Hart.
Billy was a great dad, his kids were his life, from attending their sporting and school events to coaching baseball in his community, it was important for him to be active in the lives of his kids and to show his support. He made sure to pack snacks when traveling to sporting events for all the kids to enjoy. Billy also enjoyed auto racing.
Due to current state and local restrictions, there will be a private funeral service held for the family on Thursday April 23, 2020 at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd, Charlotte, NC. For family, friends and co-workers, there will be a register book set-up outside the funeral home's main entrance on Thursday April 23, 2020 from 5-7pm, for those who wish to sign the book for the family and pay their respects.
