Billy Ray Hart, Sr. of Chester, SC passed away November 24, 2019. He was born in Snow Hill, NC to the late James Benjamin Hart and Gladys Smith Hart.
Billy is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years Doris; two sons Billy Hart, Jr. and Jonathan Hart; a daughter Nicole Groomes; six grandchildren Cole Hart, Regan Hart, Nicholas Hart, James Hart, Maddie Lalonde and Bailey Lalonde; and sister Gwanda Matthews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 27, 2019 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203 with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Hankins & Whittington.
