Carolyn G. Ervin

Carolyn G. Ervin, 85, was passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Brighton Gardens in Charlotte, NC. Carolyn was born on November 5, 1933, in Charlotte, NC to John Franklin Ervin and Alma Froneberger. Carolyn enjoyed being a bookkeeper in the construction industry. Carolyn was predeceased by her parents, John Franklin Ervin and Alma Froneberger Ervin. She is survived by her cousins, Joyce Gallagher of Odessa, MO., and Jo Anne Barringer of Bessemer City, NC as well as her close friends and caretakers Janice Little and Brenda Peake. One of Carolyn’s closest companions was her dog Cody-Joe. There will be a graveside service held on Thursday April 11, 2019 at 11:00am at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to First Baptist Church Charlotte, 301 S. Davidson Street, Charlotte, NC 28202; Hospice and Pallative Care Charlotte Region, 7845 Little Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28226 or the Humane Society of Charlotte, 2700 Toomey Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28203.
