Deborah Simms Lisk
May 25, 1954 — Mar 13, 2020
Deborah Simms Lisk was born in Charlotte on May 25 to parents Louie and Johnsie Simms died of cancer on March 13, 2020 at Harris Hospice Novant Hospital Charlotte, NC.
Debbie lived most all her life in Charlotte. She graduated from Garinger High School and stayed in touch with many school friends through out the years. In her younger years she was an avid water skier, played soft ball, and was a city champion ping pong player. She attended college locally and was a medical coder. She also worked in merchandise and insurance in Charlotte. She enjoyed working with flowers in her yard and making it look beautiful.
Debbie is survived by a daughter, Melanie, two grandchildren, her sister, Gloria Smith (husband Steve), brothers, Garry (wife Pam), Johnny (wife Gail), former husband John Lisk, and many nieces and nephews.
For all who loved her, she will be forever missed, and never forgotten. She is reunited with her parents, many family members, and friends. We are at peace knowing she is with our Lord and Savior. To God be all the Glory!
A memorial service will be held at a later date due to current conditions concerning COVID-19.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
