Julian Hart Hasenzahl

Julian Hasenzahl left this world on August 27, 2018 at the age of 29. He had an 11 year battle with a heroin addiction that tragically took his life. A service will be held Friday, August 31st at 1pm. Services are open to any and all who want to join in remembering his life. Here are the details: Friday, August 31st at 1PM The Chapel at Charlotte Rescue Mission's Rebound 907 W. 1st Street Charlotte, NC 28202 Everyone's love and support has been so comforting to our family, we love and appreciate you all. Thank you for the love, friendship and kindness you've shown our son and brother during his far too short of a life. Julian didn't get to do most of what he dreamed of in life, but his story is far from over and none of this will be in vain. Our family has found comfort in knowing that his pain of struggling with this addiction is now finally over. He is pain free, with clean veins and experiencing only peace and God's joy. His memory will be honored and we pray lives will be changed by his story. Heroin is an epidemic and claiming the lives of far too many. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Following the service, there will be some light refreshments and time together. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in his honor to the Rebound program at Charlotte Rescue Mission or to Urban Ministry Center.
