Maxie Pearl Geer

Maxie Pearl Lewis Geer, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. She was born June 18, 1925 to the late Charles Lewis and Minnie Lewis in Watagua County, NC. Maxie is survived by her husband of 72 years, James Austin Geer; her daughters, Nancy Labazzetta (Paul), Vicki Lowery (Robert) and Rebecca Marley (M.L.). She is also survived by five grandchildren; Michele (Robert), Jamie, Lindsay, Allison and Laura; and four great-grandchildren, Samantha, Isabella, Alice and Hattie. Maxie attended Woodlawn Baptist Church. Funeral service will begin at 3:00PM, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 4622 Nations Crossing Road, Charlotte, NC 28217, with visitation from 2:00 to 3:00PM. Interment will be at Forest Lawn West Cemetery immediately following. Contributions in Maxie’s memory may be made to St. Judes. Arrangements are in care of Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service.
