Nancy Brandt

Nancy Keeter Brandt, age 99, passed away on Monday October 15. Nancy Lee Moore was born in Statesville, NC. Her parents were Martin P. Moore and Dora M. Regan. She grew up in Greenville, NC. Graduated from Greenville High School, attended Queens College in Charlotte. Nancy worked as a medical lab tech for a number of years before marrying and during her marrage. She was married to William E. Keeter, Jr. for 36 years and had three sons, William E. Keeter, III (Bill), Fredrick H. Keeter (Fred) and M. Scott Keeter. After Bill Keeter, Jr. died, she was married to George D. Brandt for 25 years. Besides her three beloved sons, she survives 5 grandchildren, Amy Keeter Sloan, Stephanie Labbe, Michael Keeter, Megan Keeter Padrick, Matthew Keeter, and 6 great-grandchildren, Brady Sloan, Miles and Elliott Labbe, Madelyn, Carlee and Hunter Keeter. Visitation and the funeral service will be held at the Hankins & Whittington Funeral home on Saturday, October 20: visitation beginning at 12 pm, the service beginning at 1 pm.
