Nancy Belle Williamson Hamilton, age 90, of Charlotte, North Carolina, went to be with her heavenly father on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Born on September 22, 1935, in Cosby, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Jethro Williamson and Sarah Margaret Hunter Williamson.

Nancy was a devoted and hardworking woman of God who spent her career as a telecommunications specialist and receptionist. She worked for Carolinas Healthcare System for over 30 years. She retired at Carolinas Rehabilitation Charlotte in 2014. She considered her co-workers family. She was known for her kind and giving spirit and found great joy in cooking, church activities, spending time with her family, and rooting for her favorite baseball team the Atlanta Braves. Her warmth and generosity touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Rick, Ronnie, Lisa, and Rose; grandchildren, Danielle, Justin, Timothy, Deanna, Alexis and Austin; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Jesse, Nicholas, Christian, Elizabeth, Lucas, Colton, and Aaliyah; brothers Cleo, Charles, Carl, and Gay; sisters Ernestine and Lola and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Bobby; brothers Clyde, Clay, Claude, Clayton and Clinton; sisters Girlene, Irene, and Faye.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203. A funeral ceremony will be held at 12:30 PM in the Chapel at Hankins & Whittington with interment following in Sharon Memorial Park.
