Patricia Bottoms Williamson

Patricia Bottoms Williamson, 73, of Humble, Texas passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019. Born April 12, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Oliver Daniel Bottoms, Jr. and Velma Lee Drum Bottoms. Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Doug Williamson; daughters, Cynthia Putnam, Meridith Fix and Alice Blankenship; along with their husbands and five granddaughters. She is also survived by her brother, Danny Bottoms and his family. After Patricia’s graduation from Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in 1967, she served as a staff nurse for one year, then joined the American Red Cross. She held various positions of responsibility from Staff Nurse to Safety and Occupational Health Officer when she retired after 38 years. Giving back to others continued in her retirement. Her volunteer work included the American Red Cross Disaster Nursing Team, American Cancer Society, Metrolina Regional Prosthetics, Amputee Coalition of America and M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, TX. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Boulevard, Charlotte, 28203. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, September 28, 2019, at Iredell Memorial Park, 2304 Shelton Avenue, Statesville, 28677.
