Retta Ann Whitworth

Retta Ann Lee Whitworth of Charlotte, NC passed away, Tuesday, June 18, 2019. Ann was born in Charlotte, NC on June 30, 1943 to the late Rufus M. Lee II and Golda Dean Lee. Ann married E.O. “Bud” Whitworth and together they raised 4 children, Michelle, Trae, Lee, and David. She worked in the electrical business as a salesperson. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Bud. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 4:00 – 5:00 pm at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203 with a Celebration of Life service following at 5:00 pm.
