Rodger Keith Haynes, 75, of Charlotte, passed away after a brief illness on Friday, December 6, 2019. Born Tuesday, December 21, 1943 in Madison, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Roy and Edythe Hoke Haynes. Rodger was hard working and had an illustrious career traveling the world for construction projects. The international portion of his career took him to Saudi Arabia where he oversaw the reconstruction of the airport runways so that F-15 Fighter Jets would be able to land safely along with other projects for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to the Dominican Republic where he oversaw the construction of a national highway. Rodger was actively working as a Litigation Support Specialist for Attorney and loyal friend John Bond up until his passing. When not working he enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his beach house in Murrells Inlet. Rodger is survived by his loving wife, Terri Parker-Haynes; daughter, Tonya Kim Haynes-Jones and her husband, Bobby, and Monica Nicole Voss and her husband, Erik; son, Jeffrey Luis Haynes; step-daughter, Holly Nicole Glackin and her husband, Josh; step-son, Jeffrey Cody Ballance and his wife, Lindsey; grandchildren, Bryce J., Dallas, Timber, Gloree, Maverick, Kali, and Abree; his four-legged children, his dog, Rocky and cat, Jackson; brother-in-law, Bill Childress and his wife, Alice; and many more loving family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Anil Jotwani and RN Brett Testerman for their compassion, professionalism and kindness during his hospitalization.
