Ronald E. Baker

Ronald “Ronnie” E. Baker, age 71 of Charlotte, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, July 12, 2018. Ronnie was born in Pineville, North Carolina on January 7, 1947 and lived the majority of his life in Charlotte. He worked for more than 30 years in furniture sales. Ronnie loved to shoot pool and could often be found at the Cobber on South Boulevard where he enjoyed spending time with his friends. He will always be remembered as someone who never once complained about life’s challenges. Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, James and Nezzie Baker. Those left to cherish his memory are his fiancé, Gabriette Owens; brother, Barry Baker (Cindy); and niece, Shannon Baker. Ronnie’s wishes were that no formal services be conducted, however the family suggests that a memorial contribution may be made in his honor to a charity of your choice.
