Susan Amelia Houghton Audino

Susan “Sue” Amelia Houghton Audino, age 50, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020 after battling cancer over the past year. Sue was born in Miami, Florida. She was the beloved daughter of the late Anthony “Tony” Charles Houghton, who passed away in 1996 and Charlene Jones Houghton, who passed away in 2016. Sue was a teacher at Park Road Montessori. She is survived by her loving husband Joseph J. Audino II, her son Joseph James Audino III and her daughter Sophia Lynn Audino all of Charlotte, NC. Sue is also survived by her brother Christopher Houghton and his wife Zule, of Brooklyn, NY. In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her infant son Jack Anthony Audino in 2001 and her sister Jennifer L. Eberlin who passed away in 1994. A Memorial Mass to honor Sue’s life and legacy will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 507 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28202, with Father James Shea conducting Mass. The family will have a visitation and reception in Benedict Hall, in the Church immediately following the Mass. Interment will be private at the convenience of her family.
