Bernardina "Nina" Garcia Gallarzo

Bernardina "Nina" Garcia Gallarzo, born on May 20, 1932, in La Candela, Durango, Mexico, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026 in Salinas, California where she lived for the past 18 years. Nina dedicated her life to her family, embodying love and strength throughout her years.

She is survived by her cherished children: Cruz Carrera, Juventino Gallarzo, Esperanza Monarrez Gallarzo, Maria de Los Angeles Montano Gallarzo, and Joel Gallarzo. Nina was a proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Nina also leaves behind three beloved siblings.
