Billy Jackson

Billy Rex Jackson was born in Iredell, Texas on April 16, 1930 at home on Grandpa Jackson's ranch. Bill passed away on March 30, 2018, Good Friday, which is appropriate for the life he led. Just as Jesus said on the cross, "It is finished", Bill must have said the same thing just before Jesus welcomed him into heaven. Bill is survived by his wife, Vickie, with whom he celebrated their 51st anniversary on January 27, his 4 kids Reggie Jackson, Page Christensen, Wendy Arnold, Ann, McKim, 12 grandkids and 5 great-grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents William Rex and Myrtle Jackson and son, Michael Jackson. Bill's family moved to Salinas when he was 15 years old. He is a graduate of Salinas High School. Bill had various careers including Coke-a-Cola, Dolly Madison, Kilpatricks, Langendorf, Sysco and real estate renovation. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 19, 2018 11am at the Echoes from Calvary Church 1025 Post Dr. Salinas, CA 93901.
