Enrique Mata

Enrique Tinoco Mata, 89, lifelong resident of Salinas valley, passed away on October 12, 2016 in Salinas. He was born on June 6, 1927 in Santa Monica, CA. Enrique previously worked in agriculture as a farm worker for over 45 years. Enrique is survived by, his daughters, Dora (Mike) Ruiz and Maria (Sal) Contreras grandchildren, Denielle and Ashlee Ruiz Chris Ortiz and Albert Contreras nine great-grandchildren also survive. He is preceded in death his loving wife, Maria Dolores Mata. A Committal Blessing and Inurnment will take place on Thursday, October 20, 2016 1pm in the Mausoleum at the Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA 93901. Following services, a Reception will be held from 2-4pm at the St. George's Episcopal Church Hall 98 Kip Dr. Salinas, CA 93906. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
