Flora Tobias

Flora Fernandez Tobias, 85, longtime resident of Salinas, passed away on January 29, 2013 in Salinas. She was born on June 23, 1927 in Malolos, Bulacan in the Philppines. Flora was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Parish in Salinas. She loved to play volleyball and enjoyed sewing. She especially loved spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her daughters, Fe Williams Merle Tobias Trujillo sons, Edner Tobias Armando Tobias, Jr. Sonier Tobias Abner "Toby" Tobias 15 grandchildren 13 great-grandchildren brothers, Rudy, George and Joseph Fernandez she is preceded in death by her husband, Armando Desigan Tobias, Sr. daughter, Jocelyn Tobias sons, Jose and Mercades Tobias The Family wishes to thank everyone for their support during this difficult time and requests that Flora remain in their prayers. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 1-5pm Saturday, February 2, 2013 1-9pm and Sunday, February 3, 2013 1-9pm with a Rosary recital at 7pm, all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, February 4, 2013 1:30pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 22 Stone St. Salinas, CA 93901.
