Helen Gutierrez

Helen Luna Gutierrez, 79, longtime resident of Salinas, passed away on July 9, 2012 in Salinas. She was born on May 30, 1933 in Crystal City, Texas. Helen enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, crocheting and especially loved to sing. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Juan Gutierrez daughters, Amelia Dorado, Diana Chacon, Corina (Jose) Hernandez, Mary Gutierrez and Micaela Gutierrez sons, Richard Gutierrez Jose (Jessica) Gutierrez sisters, Delia and Mary Guzman brother, Joe Guzman numeorus grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. She is preceded by three sons, Jose II, Reynaldo and Alexander. The Family wishes to extend their appreciation and "thanks" especially to Dr. Danielle Acton and the staff at SVMH for all their support and care. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2012 2-9pm with a Rosary recital at 7pm, all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, July 16, 2012 10am at Madonna Del Sasso Catholic Church Laurel Drive Salinas, CA 93906. Burial to follow services at the Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA 93901.
