Josefina “Josie” Marinas Arimas passed away on April 29, 2026 in Salinas, California.
Josefina was born in Bantay, Ilocos Sur, Philippines on September 18, 1956, a daughter of the late Victoriano and Patricia Peña Marinas.
Josefina retired as a Postal Clerk at Main Salinas Post Office. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, and traveling. Nightly video calls with her grandchildren were the highlight of her day.
Josefina was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Leonardo Marquez Arimas, her daughter, Leslie Arimas, son, Jesse Marinas Arimas, daughter in law, granddaughter, and grandson, who will sadly miss her.
