Peter Valdez

Peter Valdez, 58, of Salinas, passed away on May 10, 2010 of natural causes. He was born on December 9, 1951 in Watsonville, Calfornia. Peter was the fifth of eleven children born to Ofelia and Antonio Valdez. He attended Alisan High School and was a former Marine, who served in Vietnam. He was a former employee of Firestone and retired from the California Department of Corrections (CTF Soledad). He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, who never missed a Thursday dinner with his beloved family. One of his greatest joys in life was hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Pete was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Elizabeth Valdez, one son Pete Valdez II , grandchildren Daniel ans Sarah Valdez, brothers, sisters, numerous nieces and nephews. "You will be dearly missed".
