Ruben Fragoso

Ruben Martinez Fragoso, surrounded by his family in his home, peacefully left us Saturday morning June 9th, 2018, at the age of 82 years. He was born September 4th, 1935, in El Presidio, Tepehuanes, Durango, Mexico. He worked for 50 years in agriculture in Gonzales where he and his wife, Elvia Corral Fragoso, also raised their four children. He is survived by, his wife, Elvia Corral Fragoso children; Esperanza Walle (Victor Walle), Violeta Fragoso, Anita Fragoso (Brian Shaw) and Ruben Fragoso (Shannon Gilley) grandchildren; Christopher Bryan Bancroft, Lewis Ruben Fragoso, Amber Nicole Walle, Daniel Martin Fragoso, Genesis Paola Walle, Andrew James Bancroft and Abran Douglas Gilley He is also survived by his sister, Hortencia Fragoso, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Emilia Fragoso, and siblings, Maria Lopez, Ramon Fragoso, Rafael Fragoso, and Herlindo Fragoso. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 1-9pm with a Rosary vigil at 7pm, all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA 93905. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, June 16, 2018 8am at St. Mary of the Nativity Church 424 Towt St. Salinas, CA 93905. Burial to follow services at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery 18200 Damian Way Salinas, CA 93907.
