With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Alicia Dawn Garrett, who left this world on April 21, 2025, in Lizella, Georgia. Born on May 17, 1976, in Macon, Georgia, Alicia embodied kindness and warmth throughout her life, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A dedicated mother, Alicia is survived by her beloved children, Trinity Adams (Jaide Harmon) and Tyler Ussery, as well as her cherished mother, Ruth Mooney, and her devoted fiancé, Wayne Kimsey. She was a pillar of strength and love for her family, offering unwavering support and encouragement. Additionally, her extended family and a vast network of friends will miss her vibrant spirit.

Alicia is preceded in death by her father, Larry Gentry Mooney.

Professionally, Alicia was resourceful and skilled, with a talent for fixing and remodeling homes. She brought her creativity and hands-on skills into every project she touched, leaving a legacy of beautifully transformed spaces. Alicia's hands were not just tools for work; they were instruments of love and care, always ready to help those in need, reflecting her generous and considerate nature.

Beyond her career, Alicia had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. She found joy in the small things—such as admiring butterflies and spending time with her beloved cats. Her love for nature was matched only by her faith in Jesus Christ, which guided her in life and instilled hope in those around her.

Alicia was a charismatic presence, known for her honesty and generosity. Her big heart touched countless lives, reminding everyone that kindness and compassion can make a difference in the world.

A celebration of her life will be held on May 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the legacy of a truly inspiring woman who loved deeply and lived fully.
