Darryl A. Reese, Sr. (USAF Ret.), passed away on June 5, 2026, in Macon, Georgia. Born on March 12, 1951, in Harlem, New York, Darryl’s life was marked by his commitment to service, love for the outdoors, and passion for motorcycle riding. A visitation to honor Darryl’s memory will be held on June 10, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, located at 701 Carl Vinson Parkway in Warner Robins, Georgia. This gathering will provide an opportunity for friends and family to pay their respects and celebrate a life well-lived.

A respected veteran, Darryl dedicated his career to the United States Air Force, where he served as an aviation mechanic, exemplifying skill and dedication. After retiring from military service, he cherished the time spent with his family and indulged in his hobbies, particularly enjoying the serenity of being outdoors and the thrill of riding motorcycles.

Darryl’s enduring legacy is reflected in the love and admiration of his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Min Cha Reese, who stood by his side through all of life’s seasons. His children, Darryl (Tereses) Reese, Jr., and Kimberly Reese, carry forward his spirit and values. He also embraced the joy of grandparenthood, leaving behind four cherished grandchildren: India Reese, Romello (Kendall) Reese, Saniyah (Charles) Hampton, and Morgan Ferguson. His family extended to great-grandchildren: Princeton Newsome and Navy Reese, who brought him immense pride and happiness. Among his living relatives is also his brother, William (Billy) Reese, Jr., who shares in the sorrow of his loss.

The family also mourns the earlier loss of Darryl’s daughter, Dawn Reese; and parents, William (Lucky) Reese, Sr. and Rosalie Reese; whose memory remains a treasured part of their lives.

Darryl A. Reese, Sr. leaves behind a profound example of dedication and resilience. His presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
